Is not an army for mortal man against earth, and the days of himself like days of a hired worker?
As a slave he is longing/gaping for a shadow, and like a hired worker he is waiting for the work of himself.
Thus I was given to inherit to myself lunar cycles of vanity, and nights of trouble they have allotted to myself.
