Genesis 3:14

RBT Translation:

And Yahweh elohim is saying toward the Serpent, for you have made this one, he-who-is-accursed¹²⁸ is אתה-yourself from the whole of the Behemah, and from the whole of the living-one of the Field. Upon the curve of yourself [gachon]¹²⁹ she is walking,¹³⁰ and a dust she is eating, all of the days of your living-ones.

RBT Paraphrase:

He Makes A Good one, The Tail becomes exceedingly Evil

And He Is mighty ones is saying toward the Serpent, "Because you have made this one, your eternal self is accursed more than every Wild Animal, and more than every domesticated-animal of the Field. She is walking upon the curve [gachon] of yourself, and the dust she is eating, all of the days of the living ones of yourself.

"His Tail Swept the Stars out of the Sky"

Mighty Ones toward the Tail. Darkness is not seen as "dark" until there is light. Evil is not seen for what it is—accursed, until there is Good present.

LITV Translation:
And Jehovah God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all beasts, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.

ESV Translation:
The LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.

Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this thou art cursed above all cattle and all the brutes of the earth, on thy breast and belly thou shalt go, and thou shalt eat earth all the days of thy life.

Strong’s #779, arar. To curse. James Strong defines it as to execrate. It is to loath more than anything else.

Strong’s #1512, גָּחוֹן gachon. This is not the same as belly, womb, stomach, etc. used elsewhere. Appears only twice, here and in Lev. 11:42. Interestingly, this is derived from the same as gichon גִּיחוֹן (#1521) is the name of the river flowing out of Eden in Gen. 2:13. These words are derived from giach גּיחַ (#1518) to gush forth (as water) or gachan to bend, bow down. Cf. Gesenius. The Serpent is said to walk upon his curve…recall Ecc. 1:7 “the Brooks walking toward the Sea”

Strong’s #1980, halak. To go, come, walk. This is the concrete word for walking in the Hebrew Scriptures. “the Yahweh elohim walking in the enclosure” Gen 3:8, “And Narrow walked with the Elohim” Gen. 5:22, “Rest walked with the Elohim” Gen. 6:9, etc.

The form תלך (telek) in the Qal stem is the incomplete form that can be either second person masculine singular or third person feminine singular. In the second person masculine singular, it means "you (male) will go," and in the third person feminine singular, it means "she will go."
