129 | Strong’s #1512, גָּחוֹן gachon. This is not the same as belly, womb, stomach, etc. used elsewhere. Appears only twice, here and in Lev. 11:42. Interestingly, this is derived from the same as gichon גִּיחוֹן (#1521) is the name of the river flowing out of Eden in Gen. 2:13. These words are derived from giach גּיחַ (#1518) to gush forth (as water) or gachan to bend, bow down. Cf. Gesenius.
