Περιπατῶν δὲ παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν τῆς Γαλιλαίας εἶδε Σίμωνα καὶ Ἀνδρέαν τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ τοῦ Σίμωνος βάλλοντας ἀμφίβληστρον ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ· ἦσαν γὰρ ἁλιεῖς.

ἁλιεῖς - Seamen, one who has to do with the Sea

And he who is leading by close beside the Sea of the Circuit, perceived Hearing ("Simon") and Manhood ("Andrew") the brother of Hearing, those who are casting all around within the Sea, for they were seamen.

And walking along beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a small net in the sea; for they were fishers.
