And now the festival being in the midst, Jesus went up to the temple, and taught.

LITV Translation:
But the feast now being half over, Jesus went up to the temple and taught.

ESV Translation:
About the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching.

τῆς ἑορτῆς μεσούσης. There is nothing in this text about time. μεσούσης (mesousēs) is a present participle verb in the genetive feminine singular, i.e. "she who is in the middle" or "she being of the middle". cf. Strongs NT #3322
