Chapter 7
Revelation 7:17
ὅτι τὸ ἀρνίον τὸ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ θρόνου ποιμαίνει αὐτούς, καὶ ὁδηγεῖ αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ ζωῆς πηγὰς ὑδάτων, καὶ ἐξαλείψει ὁ Θεὸς πᾶν δάκρυον ἐκ τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτῶν.

RBT Translation:
because the Lamb in the in-between of the Throne11 will shepherd themselves, and he will guide themselves upon springs of waters of life, and the God will wipe out any tear from out of the Eyes of themselves.
LITV Translation:
Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.
Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.
ESV Translation:
For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Footnotes
11 | The phrase "τὸ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ θρόνου" can be translated as "the in-between of the throne" or "the intermediate space of the throne." The term τὸ ἀνὰ μέσον refers to the concept of "in-between" or "intermediate space," (ἀνὰ means up/upward) as opposed to the simpler τὸ μέσον, which denotes "the middle" or "center." In this context, τὸ ἀνὰ μέσον suggests an area or position related to or associated with the throne, either literally, such as the space around or in front of it, or metaphorically, indicating a central or significant position. The genitive τοῦ θρόνου specifies the association with "the throne." |
