RBT Translation:
She Speaks
And I heard a mega voice from out of the Throne, she who is saying, "Behold! the Tent of the God in company with the Men! And she will tent in company with themselves! And they themselves will be peoples of himself, and himself the God will be in company with themselves!27LITV Translation:
And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
ESV Translation:
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
Footnotes
27 | Every translation makes a very redundant rendering resulting in a rather confusing, and senseless verse, i.e. "the tent of God is with them, and he is tenting with them, and God himself will be with them" The word Ἰδοὺ "Behold!" "Look!" beckons the reader to pay close attention to the following text. But looking closely at such a redundant saying only leaves the reader scratching his or her head. σκηνώσει "is tabernacling/tenting" is 3rd person singular and can take either a masculine or feminine subject. |
