Revelation 20:3

καὶ ἔβαλεν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν ἄβυσσον, καὶ ἔκλεισε καὶ ἐσφράγισεν ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ, ἵνα μὴ πλανᾷ ἔτι τὰ ἔθνη, ἄχρι τελεσθῇ τὰ χίλια ἔτη· καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα δεῖ αὐτὸν λυθῆναι μικρὸν χρόνον.

ἐπάνω - Top/Upper Side/Part, Locking out the Lower

And he cast himself into the Abyss, and he shut/locked up and signet-sealed the top of himself, so that he might not make the Companies of people wander any longer, until he has been completed, the Thousand Years. Beyond these ones it is necessary for himself to be untied, a little time.

LITV Translation:
and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and sealed over him, that he should not still lead astray the nations, until the thousand years are fulfilled. And after these things, he must be set loose a little time.

ESV Translation:
and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.
