Ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ὅτι οὐ σπείρουσιν, οὐδὲ θερίζουσιν, οὐδὲ συνάγουσιν εἰς ἀποθήκας, καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τρέφει αὐτά· οὐχ ὑμεῖς μᾶλλον διαφέρετε αὐτῶν;

RBT Hebrew Literal:
Fix your gaze into the Winged Ones/Flyers of the Heavenly One, that they don't sow, nor reap, nor lead together into storehouses, and the Father of yourselves, the Heavenly One, is nourishing themselves. You, yourselves do not differ more than themselves!19b
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Look ye upon the fowls of heaven; for they neither sow, nor reap, nor collect into stores; and your heavenly Father nourishes them. Do ye not rather differ from them.
LITV Translation:
Observe the birds of the heaven, that they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor do they gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Do you not rather excel them?
ESV Translation:
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Footnotes

19b

The phrase οὐχ μᾶλλον διαφέρετε αὐτῶν, taken grammatically, is a declarative negation of a comparative statement and thus denies the existence of distinction: “You do not differ more than they” or “You are not better than they are.”

However, as is frequent in both Classical and Koine Greek, such constructions may function rhetorically as interrogatives without formal syntactic markers. In such cases, the phrase would be understood as: “Do you not differ more than they?”—a question expecting an affirmative answer. The interpretive shift depends on the broader literary or dialogic context.
