13b | To Offer/Exchange Prayers προσεύχομαι (#G4336 proseúxomai)
In the New Testament, προσεύχομαι (4336/proseúxomai) is closely connected to 4102 (πίστις, "faith/trust"). Praying involves a relational exchange with God, aligning desires with His divine will and purpose. Difference from εὔχομαι (euxomai)
Thus, while both terms involve wishing or praying, προσεύχομαι (proseúxomai) emphasizes a more interactive prayer, whereas εὔχομαι (euxomai) can refer to general wishes or vows. |
