Καὶ προσελθὼν αὐτῷ ὁ πειράζων εἶπεν, Εἰ υἱὸς εἶ τοῦ Θεοῦ, εἰπὲ ἵνα οἱ λίθοι οὗτοι ἄρτοι γένωνται.

And he who has drawn near, the one who is tempting, spoke to himself, "If a son you are, of the God—speak so that These Stones would become loaves."

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And the tempter having come to him, said, If thou art the Son of God, say that these stones should become bread.

LITV Translation:
And coming near to Him, the Tempter said, If You are the Son of God, speak that these stones may become loaves.

ESV Translation:
And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.”
