But the one was preventing himself, he who is saying, "I, myself am holding a need to be submerged below yourself, and you, yourself are coming toward myself?"

And John hindered him, saying, I have need to be immersed by thee, and dost thou come to me?

LITV Translation:
But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?

ESV Translation:
John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
