And those who have braided together a wreath from out of thorn bushes, imposed upon the Head of himself,53 also a reed-pen within the Right-side of himself, and those who have fallen on the knees in front of himself, mocked to himself, those who are saying, "Rejoice! King of the Casters!"
πλέκω (plekó) - Plaited/braided together.
LITV Translation:
And plaiting a crown of thorns, they placed it on His head, and a reed in His right hand . And bowing the knee before Him, they mocked at Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews.
ESV Translation:
and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

Greek ἐπέθηκαν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ imposed upon the Head of himself. Here, the noun "the Head" is in the genitive case, i.e. "over the Head" or "on account of" as opposed to John 19:2 where it is in the dative "laid upon the Head"
