V-AIA-3S
RBT Hebrew Literal:
At that time, he began to call down curses and to swear oaths that, "I do not see the Man!" And straightly a rooster crowed out.
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Then began he to anathematize, and to swear, That I know not the man: and quickly the cock uttered a sound. 75And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, having said to him, That before the cock utter a sound, thou shalt deny me thrice. And having gone forth without, he wept bitterly.
LITV Translation:
Then he began to curse and to swear, I do not know the man. And immediately a cock crowed.
ESV Translation:
Then he began to invoke a curse on himself and to swear, “I do not know the man.” And immediately the rooster crowed.
