Matthew 21:23

Καὶ ἐλθόντι αὐτῷ εἰς τὸ ἱερόν, προσῆλθον αὐτῷ διδάσκοντι οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ, λέγοντες, Ἐν ποίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ ταῦτα ποιεῖς; Καὶ τίς σοι ἔδωκε τὴν ἐξουσίαν ταύτην;

And he who has come of himself into the Holy Place, drew near to himself, he who is teaching, the High Priests and the Elders of the People, those who are saying, "Within what kind of authority are you making these ones? And who gave this Authority to yourself?"

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And to him, having come into the temple to him teaching, came the chief priests and elders of the people, saying, By what authority doest thou these? and who gave thee this authority?

LITV Translation:
And He, coming into the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came near to Him as He was teaching, saying, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave this authority to you?

ESV Translation:
And when he entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came up to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority?”
