Matthew 18:7

Οὐαὶ τῷ κόσμῳ ἀπὸ τῶν σκανδάλων· ἀνάγκη γάρ ἐστιν ἐλθεῖν τὰ σκάνδαλα· πλὴν οὐαὶ τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ἐκείνῳ, δι᾽ οὗ τὸ σκάνδαλον ἔρχεται.

Woe to the Order away from the Scandals!  For it is inevitable the Scandals come, but nevertheless woe to the Man across the other side from whoever the Scandal is coming!

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Woe to the world for offences I for there is necessity for offences to come; but woe to that man by whom the offence comes!

LITV Translation:
Woe to the world from its offenses! It is a necessity for the offenses to come, yet woe to that man through whom the offense comes!

ESV Translation:
“Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!
