But the one was not desiring, but rather he who has gone away cast himself into a watching, until he gave back that which was owed.

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And he would not; but having departed he cast him into prison till he should give back that being owed.

LITV Translation:
But he would not, but going away he threw him into prison until he pay back the amount owing.

ESV Translation:
He refused and went and put him in prison until he should pay the debt.
