Jeremiah

The name  ירמיהו (Yirmeyahu) or ירמיה (Yirmiyah) in Hebrew is derived from the Hebrew root רמה, which means "to raise," "to lift up," or "to exalt." The word is used in teh context of "raising up" the "ark of Noah" and the "ark of the covenant." The name ירמיהו (Yirmeyahu) is composed of two parts:

1. ירמיה (Yirmiyah): This is the main part of the name and contains the root רמה (r-m-h). The prefix יִ (yod) is a common prefix in Hebrew names, and in the case of verbs is generally used of third person masculine singular, he is raising up.

2. הוּ (hu): This is a suffix that can be added to names in Hebrew, often to indicate the third person possessive form, meaning "him/himself."

Therefore, ירמיהוּ (Yirmeyahu) can be understood as "He is raising/lifting up/exalting himself"

Where as ירמיה can be understood as "He is raising up/exalting"
