Mark 9:28

Καὶ εἰσελθόντα αὐτὸν εἰς οἶκον, οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπηρώτων αὐτὸν κατ᾽ ἰδίαν ὅτι Ἡμεῖς οὐκ ἠδυνήθημεν ἐκβαλεῖν αὐτό;

"How is he able, an adversary, an adversary to cast out?"

And of him who has entered of himself into a household, the Learners of himself down on their own, were questioning himself since we were not able to cast out self.

And He entering into a house, His disciples questioned Him privately, Why were we not able to cast it out?

ESV Translation:
And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”
