Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
But if we say, of men; they feared the people: for all held John, that he was truly a prophet. 33And having answered they say to Jesus, We know not. And Jesus having answered, says to them, Neither say I to you by what power I do these things.
LITV Translation:
But if we say, From men, they feared the people. For all held that John really was a prophet.
ESV Translation:
But shall we say, ‘From man’?”—they were afraid of the people, for they all held that John really was a prophet.
