The phrase "and be joined to the woman of himself" is not found in the earlier manuscripts here.

The shorter version (without "καὶ προσκολληθήσεται πρὸς τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ") is found in manuscripts often considered earlier and more reliable, such as certain Alexandrian texts. These manuscripts reflect a simpler or original version of the text.
