28 | δῠνᾰτός Primary Meaning: "Strong, Mighty" Physical Strength "ὅ τι ἦν αὐτῶν δυνατώτατον" (Hdt. 9.31): "the strongest-bodied men" – referring to physical might or ability. "σῶμα δ. πρός τι" (Xen. Oec. 7.23): "a body strong for a certain task" – physical suitability for work or action. Opposition to Weakness: Opposed to ἀδύνατος (unable, weak): "sound in limb", indicating health and physical soundness (Lys. 24.12). of outward power, powerful, influential, S.
