Luke 4:38

Ἀναστὰς δὲ ἐκ τῆς συναγωγῆς, εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Σίμωνος· πενθερὰ δὲ τοῦ Σίμωνος ἦν συνεχομένη πυρετῷ μεγάλῳ· καὶ ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν περὶ αὐτῆς.

συνεχομένη πυρετῷ - Constrained/closed in/held back by a Fiery Heat

And he who has stood up, away from the Assembly, entered into the House of Hearing ("Simon"), and a mother-in-law of the Hearing, she was her who is constrained by a mega fiery heat, and they asked himself around herself.

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And having risen from the assembly, he went into Simon's house. And Simon's mother-in-law was taken with a great fever; and they entreated him for her.

LITV Translation:
And rising up from the synagogue, He went into the house of Simon. And the mother-in-law of Simon was being seized with a great fever. And they asked Him concerning her.

ESV Translation:
And he arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to him on her behalf.
