RBT Hebrew Literal:
ויהוה חפץ דכאו - And He Is him who is pleased to crush Himself (Isa. 53:10)
And he released the one who has been cast into a watching on account of a factional strife and a murder, him whom they kept asking for, and he handed over the Salvation to the Pleasure of themselves.
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And he loosed to them him cast into prison for sedition, and slaughter, which they demanded; and delivered Jesus to their will.
LITV Translation:
And he released to them the one thrown into prison due to revolt and murder, whom they asked. But he delivered Jesus to their will.
ESV Translation:
He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus over to their will.
