Luke 23:22

Ὁ δὲ τρίτον εἶπε πρὸς αὐτούς, Τί γὰρ κακὸν ἐποίησεν οὗτος; Οὐδὲν αἴτιον θανάτου εὗρον ἐν αὐτῷ· παιδεύσας οὖν αὐτὸν ἀπολύσω.

Not Denying Himself Three Times

And the one said a third time toward themselves, "For what evil has he made, this one? I have found nothing culpable/responsible of death within himself! He who has trained up himself therefore, I will release!

"What evil has he made, this one?
I found nothing deserving of death!"

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And he said to them the third time, For what evil has he done I have found no cause of death in him: therefore, having corrected him, I will loose.

LITV Translation:
And a third time he said to them, For what evil did this one do? I found no cause of death in him. Therefore, chastising him, I will release him .

ESV Translation:
A third time he said to them, “Why? What evil has he done? I have found in him no guilt deserving death. I will therefore punish and release him.”
