Footnotes
Jon. 4:9 | Hebrew היטב is either a 2nd person singular masculine Hiphil imperative "Make good!" or a Niphal imperative, "be made good!" but the passive form does not fit. It also can be a 3rd person masculine singular Hophal perfect, but this doesn't fit either. Morphologists bypassed all of these and went with the infinitive construct, and then used this as license to add more words, and even change it altogether:
