RBT Translation:
Dual Waters: We don't Borrow Together
The Woman, The Watchwoman ("Samaritan"), is saying therefore to himself, "How is yourself, he who is a Caster from close beside myself, asking to drink of a woman, she who is of a Watchwoman?" For Casters do not borrow jointly with Watchmen.71cLITV Translation:
Then the Samaritan woman said to Him, How do you, being a Jew, ask to drink from me, I being a Samaritan woman? For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.
Then the Samaritan woman said to Him, How do you, being a Jew, ask to drink from me, I being a Samaritan woman? For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.
ESV Translation:
The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
