John 16:25

Ταῦτα ἐν παροιμίαις λελάληκα ὑμῖν· ἀλλ᾽ ἔρχεται ὥρα ὅτε οὐκέτι ἐν παροιμίαις λαλήσω ὑμῖν, ἀλλὰ παρρησίᾳ περὶ τοῦ πατρὸς ἀναγγελῶ ὑμῖν.

RBT Translation:

παροιμία - Figure of Speech

These ones I have chirped to yourselves within figures of speech. An hour is coming when I will no longer chirp within figures of speech to yourselves. But with a bold confidence from around the Father I will report back to yourselves.

LITV Translation:
I have spoken these things to you in allegories. An hour comes when I will no longer speak to you in allegories, but I will reveal the Father plainly to you.

ESV Translation:
“I have said these things to you in figures of speech. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech but will tell you plainly about the Father.
