John 14:2

Ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ τοῦ πατρός μου μοναὶ πολλαί εἰσιν· εἰ δὲ μή, εἶπον ἂν ὑμῖν· Πορεύομαι ἑτοιμάσαι τόπον ὑμῖν.

Within the House of the Father of myself, there are multitudinous abodes/mansions. And if not,  I would have spoken to yourselves that I am ferrying across to prepare a place for yourselves!"

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
In my Father's house are many dwellings: and if not, I had said to you. I go to prepare a place for you.

LITV Translation:
In My Father's house are many dwelling places. But if it were not so , I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you!

ESV Translation:
In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
