Ἡ οὖν Μάρθα, ὡς ἤκουσεν ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἔρχεται, ὑπήντησεν αὐτῷ· Μαρία δὲ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ ἐκαθέζετο.

Then Martha, when she heard that Jesus comes, met him: and Mary sat in the house.

LITV Translation:
Then when Martha heard that Jesus is coming, she met Him; but Mary was sitting in the house.

ESV Translation:
So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house.
