Εἰρήκει δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς περὶ τοῦ θανάτου αὐτοῦ· ἐκεῖνοι δὲ ἔδοξαν ὅτι περὶ τῆς κοιμήσεως τοῦ ὕπνου λέγει.

Not RIP Death, That Death

And the Salvation had spoken around to the Death of himself. And that one thought/had opinion that he is speaking around to 'the Rest of the Sleep'.

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And Jesus spake of his death: but these supposed that he speaks of the repose of sleep.

LITV Translation:
But Jesus had spoken about his death, but they thought that He spoke of the sleep of slumber.

ESV Translation:
Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep.
