RBT Hebrew Literal:
The Hired One, who is not even a shepherd, of whom the Sheep are not his own, is gazing attentively at the Wolf, he who is coming, and he is letting go/neglecting the Sheep and fleeing, and the Wolf is snatching/seizing themselves and scattering abroad.
"Son of the Right ("Benjamin") is a wolf, he is tearing to pieces. In the Dawn he is eating perpetually, and he is dividing the Dusk into plunder." (Genesis 49:27 RBT)
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
But the hired one, and not being the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and he leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf plunders them, and scatters the sheep.
LITV Translation:
But the hireling, not even being a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and forsakes the sheep and flees. And the wolf seizes them, and scatters the sheep.
ESV Translation:
He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.
