Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
For the islands shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish among the first to bring thy sons from far off, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of Jehovah thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he honored thee.
LITV Translation:
For the coastlands shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish at the first, to bring your sons from far away, their silver and their gold to them, to the name of Jehovah your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He has glorified you.
ESV Translation:
For the coastlands shall hope for me, the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your children from afar, their silver and gold with them, for the name of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has made you beautiful.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
The isles have waited for me, and the ships of Tarshish among the first, to bring thy children from afar, and their silver and their gold with them, and that for the sake of the holy name of the Lord, and because the Holy One of Israel is glorified.
