Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
I was silent of old; I will be still, I will restrain myself: as she bringing forth I will cry out; I will lay waste and snuff up together.
LITV Translation:
I have forever kept silence; I have been quiet and refrained Myself; I will groan like a woman in travail; I will pant and gasp at once.
ESV Translation:
For a long time I have held my peace; I have kept still and restrained myself; now I will cry out like a woman in labor; I will gasp and pant.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
I have been silent: shall I also always be silent and forbear? I have endured like a travailing woman: I will now amaze and wither at once.
