And Behold-Builder is saying toward his father, to say, `אֶת-Double of my builders you are causing to die, if I am not causing him to come in toward you. Give אֶת-him upon my hand, and myself is causing him to come in toward you.`

And Reuben will speak to his father, saying, Kill my two sons, if I shall not bring him to thee: give him into my hand, and I will turn him back to thee. 38And he will say, My son shall not go down with you, for his brother died, and he alone was left: and harm meeting him in the way in which ye shall go, and ye bring down my old age with grief to hades.

LITV Translation:
And Reuben spoke to his father, saying, You may kill my two sons if I do not bring him to you. Give him into my hand, and I will return him to you.

ESV Translation:
Then Reuben said to his father, “Kill my two sons if I do not bring him back to you. Put him in my hands, and I will bring him back to you.”
