And Heel has pulled up Booth-ward, and is building to-himself a house, and to him a bought-one he has made booths,1055 upon an upright he has called-out a name of the Standing-place Booth.

RBT Paraphrase:
And Heel-Chaser pulled up into a shelter of herself, and he is building for himself a house, and he has made shelters for the purchased one of Himself. Upon an upright one he has summoned a name of the Standing Place, "Shelters."
LITV Translation:
And Jacob traveled to Succoth. And he built himself a house, and made booths for his livestock. For this reason he called the name of the place Succoth.
ESV Translation:
But Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built himself a house and made booths for his livestock. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And Jacob departs to his tents; and he made for himself there habitations, and for his cattle he made booths; therefore he called the name of that place, Booths.

Strong’s #5521, sukkah. Booth. A booth was a canopy made of interwoven boughs from trees. Compare Nehemiah 8:15, “Go out to the hills, and bring olive branches and wild olive branches, myrtle branches, palm branches and branches of other leafy trees, to make booths, as it is written.”
