Footnotes
886 | Strong’s #7856, שִׂטְנָה Sitnah. The feminine of “Satan” #7854 שָׂטָן. Satan means adversary, accuser. The Lexicons are oddly silent on the etymological relationship to Satan. Sitnah is found in one other place, “And in the reign of Ahasuerus in the piercing of his reign, they have written an accusation [sitnah] over those-sitting Judah and Jerusalem.” Ezra 4:6 literal Probably shouldn’t overlook this. |
