And afterward his brother came out, and his hand was holding to the heel of Esau; and his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was a son of sixty years when she bore them.
ESV Translation:
Afterward his brother came out with his hand holding Esau’s heel, so his name was called Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And after this came forth his brother, and his hand took hold of the heel of Esau; and she called his name Jacob. And Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah bore them.

The Scripture is incredibly choosy and deliberate with its words. This is the feminine singular participle verb – she who grasps or her seizing. Yad, the hand, is the feminine subject. Strong’s #270, achaz. To grasp, take hold. Very particular to the hand.
