724 | Father-of-Tumult is not happy about this. The consequences for his builder Ishmael are of great distress to him. He in fact shows more love to Ishmael being cast out to the wilderness than to Isaac when he is commanded to slaughter him. There, even with knife in hand, find no emotion from Abraham. Yet, could not Father-of-Tumult have kept Ishmael? Or are Hagar and Ishmael somehow inseparable? |
