Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And I took from the foliage of the cedar, and I gave from the head; I will pluck its suckers a tender one, and I planted upon a mountain of height and heaped up.
LITV Translation:
So says the Lord Jehovah: I will also take, even I, of the top of the highest cedar and I will set it ; I will crop off a tender one from the first of its young twig, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
ESV Translation:
Thus says the Lord GOD: “I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. I will break off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
