Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And giving the clothing and the horse to the hand of a man of the chiefs of the king, the nobles; and clothe the man which the king delighted in his honor, and cause him to ride upon the horse in the broad place of the city, and tall before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighted in his honor.
LITV Translation:
and let this clothing and horse be given into the hand of men, one of the king's most noble princes, and let them dress the man whom the king delights to honor, and cause him to ride on the horse through the street of the city, and call out before him, In this way shall be done to the man whom the king delights, in honoring him!
ESV Translation:
And let the robes and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most noble officials. Let them dress the man whom the king delights to honor, and let them lead him on the horse through the square of the city, proclaiming before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.’”
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
and let him give it to one of the king’s noble friends, and let him array the man whom the king loves; and let him mount him on the horse, and proclaim through the street of the city, saying, Thus shall it be done to every man whom the king honors.
