Acts 5:26

Τότε ἀπελθὼν ὁ στρατηγὸς σὺν τοῖς ὑπηρέταις ἤγαγεν αὐτούς, οὐ μετὰ βίας, ἐφοβοῦντο γὰρ τὸν λαόν, ἵνα μὴ λιθασθῶσιν.

Then the General who has gone away, identified with the under-rowers, was leading themselves not with violence, for they feared the People, lest they be stoned.

Then the commander going with the officers, they brought them, not with force, for they feared the people, that they might not be stoned.
