Acts 5:24

Ὡς δὲ ἤκουσαν τοὺς λόγους τούτους ὅ τε ἱερεὺς καὶ ὁ στρατηγὸς τοῦ ἱεροῦ καὶ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς, διηπόρουν περὶ αὐτῶν, τί ἂν γένοιτο τοῦτο.

And even as they heard those Words, both the General of the Sanctuary and the High Priests were at a total loss around themselves as to what this might become.

And when they heard these words, both the priest and the temple commander and the chief priests were in doubt concerning them, what this might be.

Now when the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were greatly perplexed about them, wondering what this would come to.
