Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And a man will rise to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul: and the soul of my lord was bound up in the bundle of lives with Jehovah thy God; and the soul of thine enemies he will sling out in the midst of the hand of the sling.
LITV Translation:
And if a man rises up to pursue you, and to seek your soul (and the soul of my lord has been bound up in the bundle of life with Jehovah your God). And the souls of your enemies, He shall sling them from the hollow of the sling.
ESV Translation:
If men rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living in the care of the LORD your God. And the lives of your enemies he shall sling out as from the hollow of a sling.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And if a man shall rise up persecuting thee and seeking thy life, yet shall the life of my lord be bound up in the bundle of life with the Lord God, and thou shalt whirl the life of thine enemies as in the midst of a sling.
