1 John 3:22

καὶ ὃ ἐὰν αἰτῶμεν, λαμβάνομεν παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ τηροῦμεν, καὶ τὰ ἀρεστὰ ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ποιοῦμεν.

And whatever we might ask, we are taking hold away from himself, because the Commandments of himself we are watching over, and the Pleasing one we are making face to face with himself.

And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments, and we do the things pleasing before Him.

ESV Translation:
and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
