RBT Translation:
κλείσῃ - shut up, bar, close, block up
But whosoever would hold the Bio-Life of the Order, and should look attentively at the Brother of himself, he who is holding a need, and should shut/block the Bowels of himself away from himself, how is the Agape-Love of the God remaining within himself?
Sick in the stomach.
The Upper
and the Lower
LITV Translation:
Whoever has the means of life of the world, and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
ESV Translation:
But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?
