1 John 3:16

Ἐν τούτῳ ἐγνώκαμεν τὴν ἀγάπην, ὅτι ἐκεῖνος ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ἔθηκε· καὶ ἡμεῖς ὀφείλομεν ὑπὲρ τῶν ἀδελφῶν τὰς ψυχὰς τιθέναι.

RBT Translation:

Within this one we have recognized the Agape-love because that one set the Soul-life of himself across from ourselves, and we ourselves are indebted to set the Soul-life across from the Brothers.

LITV Translation:
By this we have known the love of God , because that One laid down His life for us; and on behalf of the brothers we ought to lay down our lives.

ESV Translation:
By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
