1 John 3:1

Ἴδετε ποταπὴν ἀγάπην δέδωκεν ἡμῖν ὁ πατήρ, ἵνα τέκνα Θεοῦ κληθῶμεν. Διὰ τοῦτο ὁ κόσμος οὐ γινώσκει ὑμᾶς, ὅτι οὐκ ἔγνω αὐτόν.

RBT Translation:

Behold! from what land the father has given an agape-love to ourselves, so that we might be summoned as Children of God, and we are across to this one. The order does not recognize ourselves because he has not recognized himself!

LITV Translation:
See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

ESV Translation:
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
